WHY? My most recent read oh-so-suddenly changed from a total bore--I was having one too many "why am I reading this again?" moments--to an outstanding can't-put-it-down novel. This raised a few questions in my mind concerning the experience of reading a novel. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I know that reading for me can be extremely emotional. I can range from "oh, I love this book but know this isn't going to end well" to "this is great! wait, that's the ending?" and find that normal book reviews simply don't convey these things to me.
So, here we go: we're embarking on a journey of thirds!

ReplyDeleteWell, read a great book before the baby news called "The Story of Edgar Sawtelle," but it's a little too deep for me at the moment, so I'm going to go with a new book I picked up...;) First entry starts...NOW!
